Lenses with the IBM managed Kafka service known as Event Streams .

The following support is not currently available on Event Streams:

• ZooKeeper
• Zookeeper metrics
• Kafka brokers metrics.

Install on a virtual instance 

Recommended server:

• 4 vCPU
• 8 GB RAM
• 25 GB Disk
• Ubuntu Linux 18.04 LTS Bionic Beaver Minimal Install (64 bit)

Once the virtual server has finished booting, alter the /etc/resolv.conf if necessary, and check internet connectivity by updating the software:

apt update

Next, install Lenses as a docker or archive .
