Getting Started

The first thing that you will need to do is download the Lenses Docker image from Docker Hub on your local machine. The Lenses Box Docker image is the beginning of your journey to Lenses and its efficient way of working.

docker pull landoop/kafka-lenses-dev

The next thing is getting your Lenses ID, which will help you use the Lenses Docker image. Keep your Lenses ID at hand as you will have to use it in order to run the Lenses Box Docker image.

After that, you will have to execute a long docker run command for Lenses Box to begin. We will talk about it in a while.

The last thing that you will need to do is spend some time working with Lenses in order to understand its advantages and benefits.
